Armenian Ambassador Visits Székesfehérvár, Hungary

On July 5, Armenian Ambassador to Hungary Ashot Smbatyan visited the city of Székesfehérvár in Hungary. The Ambassador was received by Mayor Dr. András Cser-Palkovics. They discussed decentralized cooperation between the cities and regions of Armenia and Hungary and the opportunities for its development. During the visit, the Ambassador also gave an interview to the local television.

Armenian Ambassador Visits Armenian Studies Department in Budapest

On July 5, Armenian Ambassador to Hungary Ashot Smbatyan visited the Armenian Studies Department at Pázmány Péter Catholic University in Budapest, where he met with the department’s leadership and researchers. The activities of the department and collaboration programs were discussed. The Ambassador also attended the final exams of the department’s students, which included scientists from Armenia, the USA, Italy, and Germany as part of the examination committee.

Armenian family day

This year, the festival dedicated to the Armenian family coincided with Children’s Day. This year saw a record number of participants, and the party was accompanied by delicious snacks, face painting, fairy tale characters, lots of games, music, and Armenian dancing. Among our guests were families and their children who had been forcibly displaced from Artsakh and arrived in Hungary. We would like to extend our gratitude to the president of the Armenian community in the Hungarian National Assembly, the Armenian autonomy of the 18th region, the Armenian Culture Foundation, the Armenian Youth Association, the Armenian Autonomy of Kispest, Marlenka for the sweets, the Armenian Autonomy of Kőbánya for the face painting, the Urartu Armenian Theatre for the stage and musical performances, the Armenian Cultural Center, and the Transylvanian Armenian Cultural Center. Special thanks to the participants.
